Starting tonight/tomorrow I am….
This means I’m going to try to leave work by 5:00pm most days. I will have time to cook dinner most nights and eat healthy. I’ll be getting up early and being active so that I’m tired in the evening and will fix my insomnia problem. I’ll be healthier and losing weight. I’ll get to see my new horse more than just on the weekends.
I figure, some day in the future I will have to get up early when I have kids anyway. And I might not always have a job that starts at 10:00am. And thankfully my workplace has flex hours so if I come in at 8 and work my 8 hours I can leave at 5. It’s time to turn over a new leaf and get out of this rut of sleeping until 9:00am, eating poorly, getting fatter, and being unmotivated to do anything around the house.
I’ve had like no motivation lately. It sucks. I’m not into cleaning, cooking, or exercising. When I come home, I just want to relax and do nothing.
How do I jump start my energy again? I think I need to eat better.
According to a study published in the journal BMC Public Health, children as young as 10- and 11-years-old already have notions about the ideal body. An analysis of more than 4,000 students from Nova Scotia revealed that young girls’ happiness with their body image is directly linked to how thin they are. Boys, on the other hand, were happiest when they were neither too lean, nor too heavy.
