Now IMO, Hunchback of Notre Dame is the true fail. They turned Phoebus from a sleazy bad guy in the original into a good guy just so the pretty girl doesn't end up with the cripple. I can only assume that the only reason disabled groups didn't completely crucify Disney at the time was that very few people read the original nowdays. I was outraged.
